Penny Balding, has been teaching drawing and painting for more than 20 years. She is an experienced Adult Education Teacher, a Fine Art lecturer at Bournemouth Arts Institute, and leads life drawing wokshops. She studied at the Academia di Bella Arti - Rome; in the studio of Italian sculptor and painter Prof. Lorenzo Ferri, and at the Arts Institute at Southampton. She speaks fluent Italian and has been arranging and leading both painting and cultural art trips to Italy, France and Spain for the last 10 years.

She enjoys helping and encouraging artists of all abilities to build on their existing techniques and skills by exploring different inspirational and innovative approaches. Painters who join her courses could expect to broaden their artistic territory while benefiting from a beautiful environment that has been the source of inspiration for so many.
