Accommodation

Accommodation is ensuite, in either a hotel, medieval in appearance but with comfortable rooms, or an agriturismo - an Italian invention to provide very good accommodation in out-of-town rural areas. The hospitality has always been remarkable when we visit these places.

We plan to stay in three locations to maximize the places of interest we can visit. At Tuscania we will stay at a small 3* hotel close to the medieval town. The agriturismo accommodation we will be using is in Southern Tuscany.
For the last three nights we will stay at Volterra a medieval walled town.

The meals are based on regional farm or home produced food and local wines. Each agriturismo utilizes home grown organic produce.
